Staff Software Engineer

Lead hands-on development and delivery of the most complex platform and tooling projects within the Developer Experience team with minimal supervision.

Shape technical direction and architecture, balancing ideal designs with delivery timelines and team maturity; collaborate on build-versus-buy decisions.

Mentor engineers, uphold technical standards through code reviews and documentation, and build cross-team technical credibility including participation in hiring processes.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

8+ years professional software engineering experience, currently operating at Staff Engineer level.

Deep hands-on experience with internal developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or platform engineering at scale.

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, AWS, and Java; experience influencing without formal authority and participating in technical hiring.

Experienced Staff-level engineer on Platform or Developer Experience teams with proven technical leadership.

Effective at bridging and building trust across distributed and cross-country engineering teams, including occasional travel to US.

Background in legal technology, professional-services SaaS, or regulated enterprise software environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
