Lead the founding Developer Experience (DevX) product team, owning product charter, roadmap, and success metrics from inception.
Run discovery with distributed engineering teams to understand developer pain points, translate findings into prioritized roadmap, and drive adoption of DevX tools across teams without direct authority.
Define and track developer productivity metrics (e.g., DORA metrics), make tradeoff decisions on scope/sequencing, and partner closely with Principal Software Engineer in product/technical co-leadership.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of product management experience including ownership of a product area or roadmap.
Enterprise SaaS product management experience; developer tools or platform product experience is a plus.
Technical fluency to engage credibly with engineering teams on architecture and tooling tradeoffs; experience defining and using productivity/adoption metrics (e.g., DORA metrics) for decision-making.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in founding or scaling Developer Experience or Platform Engineering product functions from scratch.
Proven ability to build trust and collaborate with geographically distributed engineering teams across different time zones.
Skilled at stakeholder management and driving adoption across teams without direct reporting lines, especially in regulated or enterprise software environments such as legal technology.
