Senior Software Engineer - GoLang Microservices & Event-Driven Systems

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go (Golang) microservices and RESTful APIs focused on high performance and reliability.

Lead the development and optimization of event-driven systems using Apache Kafka, including producers/consumers and advanced event processing workflows.

Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions, mentor junior engineers, and maintain technical documentation while aligning with enterprise architecture standards.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of software development experience with strong microservices architecture expertise.

Strong proficiency with Go (Golang), Apache Kafka, and RESTful API design and implementation.

Experience with Restate for stateful serverless microservices orchestration; experienced with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.

Experienced individual contributor comfortable working in distributed microservices and event-driven environments with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Comfortable with ownership and accountability for delivering scalable, fault-tolerant backend solutions within fast-paced, global teams.

Has leadership capabilities demonstrated by mentoring junior engineers and aligning technical solutions with organizational vision and standards.
