Software Engineer III - Java Backend

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Java backend solutions using Springboot and Kafka within a microservices architecture.

Analyze and visualize large diverse data sets to drive continuous improvements in software applications and systems.

Leverage enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity while ensuring secure coding standards.

3+ years of applied software engineering experience with hands-on expertise in Java, Springboot, Kafka, and microservices architecture.

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.

Experience with agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices.

Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to validate AI-generated outputs.

Experienced with system design, operational stability, development, testing in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages.

Demonstrates understanding of responsible AI use including data sensitivity and security in engineering workflows.

Comfortable applying knowledge of software development lifecycle tools and automation to enhance engineering delivery and team effectiveness.
