Manager - Investment Compliance Coding

Own coding and implementation of client and compliance regulations within investment compliance systems like Aladdin, ensuring accurate monitoring of investment mandates and product restrictions.

Act as subject matter expert on investment compliance coding, conduct investment mandate reviews, and resolve queries related to compliance rules and breaches.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain and enhance compliance rule libraries, manage system issues, and support pre- and post-trade compliance monitoring activities.

Minimum 7+ years experience in buy-side asset management with investment compliance, mandate, or portfolio compliance monitoring expertise.

Strong knowledge of asset management domain, investment operations, and capital markets.

Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with VBA, BlackRock Aladdin, and compliance monitoring systems mandatory.

Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics; CFA or FRM certification is a plus.

Experienced in interpreting complex investment management agreements and regulatory guidelines to code compliance rules effectively within technical platforms.

Demonstrates end-to-end ownership of investment compliance processes and can engage senior stakeholders including fund managers and client directors on compliance issues.

Technically adept with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of innovating compliance solutions and managing cross-functional collaboration in a global environment.
