Own and resolve medium and low impact incidents across a live AI-native banking platform covering payments, lending, deposits, and core ledger services.
Investigate root causes in code, data, and infrastructure; implement fixes or collaborate with senior engineers to ship them.
Use and help develop AI-driven tools and automation to improve diagnostic, triage, and resolution processes, aiming to build a largely self-operating production support function.
Minimum Requirements
2–4 years of software engineering experience, ideally including production support or on-call roles.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
Strong ability to debug unfamiliar codebases and solid SQL skills for data investigation.
Understanding of distributed systems failure modes such as timeouts, retries, race conditions, and partial failures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in production support or incident management within complex, distributed banking or financial systems.
Comfortable working across multiple platform services rather than a single domain area.
Demonstrated use of AI tools in daily software development and an interest in advancing automation for incident management.
