Z2_Azure Data Engineer with DevOps

Lead end-to-end architecture and migration of BI FSL 2.0 from SAP BW/BW4HANA to Azure Databricks/neXtollo involving design of data models, extraction, integration, and scalable lakehouse patterns.

Design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data pipelines, CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure provisioning using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Terraform, and DevSecOps practices.

Provide technical leadership through delivery, ensure alignment with enterprise cloud and security standards, and collaborate across multiple technical and business teams for migration governance and operations.

10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, BI modernization, or enterprise data platform delivery.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services including Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake.

Minimum 3+ years of practical DevOps experience including CI/CD pipeline design and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SAP BW/BW4HANA migration concepts and SAP data extraction approaches.

Experienced in leading complex SAP BW to cloud data platform modernization programs with proven delivery and architectural leadership skills.

Proficient in Azure cloud ecosystem, Databricks Lakehouse architecture, and implementing DevSecOps for production-grade enterprise data platforms.

Comfortable working in hybrid/multi-vendor global team environments interacting with technical teams, business stakeholders, and platform leadership.
