Build and own dimensional data models and metric definitions for consumer analytics impacting marketing, lead generation, and site traffic.
Implement data-quality tests, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data product trustworthiness.
Collaborate with US-based BI analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to define semantic layers and metric requirements used by BI tools, AI systems, and machine learning workflows.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years of professional data experience with metrics-as-code and semantic modelling preferred.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including relational modeling concepts like grain, joins, and schema evolution.
Experience with dbt or an equivalent transformation framework, Git, and CI/CD basics.
Must work onsite at Zillow India office approximately 80-100% of the time; must live within reasonable commuting distance to the office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building and maintaining performant data models and trusted metric pipelines in cloud data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate asynchronously across large time-zone gaps and drive clear communication with remote US teams.
Familiarity with integrating data products that support AI systems, conversational analytics, and machine learning workflows in a production environment.
