Staff Machine Learning Engineer (L4)

Build and lead development of foundational AI/ML capabilities powering personalized, contextual customer engagement at scale.

Design, experiment, and rapidly deploy novel machine learning solutions including LLM orchestration and retrieval strategies in a fast-paced product setting.

Mentor and raise technical standards within the team through design reviews and knowledge sharing, driving enterprise-grade software quality.

8+ years of applied Machine Learning/AI experience with end-to-end ownership of complex systems.

Proficiency in Python and experience building cloud-based services on AWS, GCP, or Azure with high-volume data or real-time inference.

Strong fundamentals in statistical machine learning algorithms, transformer models, and large language models (LLMs).

Location restricted to remote work from India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, New Delhi).

Experienced in ambiguous, 0-to-1 product development environments translating vague ideas into rapid experiments and production deployments.

Proven ability to elevate team technical standards through mentorship and collaboration without formal managerial authority.

Background in building scalable AI systems for personalized user experiences, particularly with conversational AI or multi-turn dialogue models.
