Develop and prepare detailed cost proposals, budgets, and budget narratives for international donor-funded projects, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
Review and coordinate cost inputs from subrecipients, partners, and internal teams, including analysis of RFA/RFP requirements and donor-specific budget templates.
Support business development and capacity-building activities by researching donor requirements, creating cost tools and training materials, and improving Cost & Pricing processes.
Minimum Requirements
3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including 1-2 years in cost proposal and budget development for donor-funded programs.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
Experience with donor groups such as US Government agencies, bilateral donors, multilateral organizations, UN agencies, or private foundations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience working with international donors including BMGF, GAVI, Wellcome Trust, US Government agencies, and UN agencies, especially supporting proposals for multiple donor types.
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and communication across geographies, able to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver accurate work under tight deadlines, and apply sound judgment in complex proposal budgeting scenarios.
