Own the architecture and high/low-level design of large-scale, high-availability distributed web applications using Java/J2EE and Microservices.
Lead cross-team collaboration to evolve legacy applications to modern architectures including containerized deployments and security compliance.
Drive software quality and security standards within the team, including CI/CD pipeline management, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of shift-left security concepts.
Minimum Requirements
15+ years of application development experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience with cloud platforms and services, especially AWS including CloudFormation, ECS Fargate, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway.
Strong skills in security implementation in application development and vulnerability remediation processes.
Work Location: Chennai or Bangalore; Work Schedule: 5 days/week, 01:00-10:00PM IST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level architect experienced in designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems with enterprise security requirements.
Proven ability to lead technical design and collaborate across teams to migrate legacy systems to modern frameworks and cloud-native solutions.
Experienced with DevOps and security tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Fortify, SonarQube) and familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS, Pub/Sub).
