Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data governance and data catalog implementations covering strategy, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and adoption phases.
Define and design enterprise data governance strategy, operating models, roles, policies, and stewardship processes aligned to business priorities.
Serve as primary liaison for client stakeholders and internal teams, conducting workshops to gather requirements and managing governance workstreams, while mentoring junior staff.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of relevant experience in data governance/data catalog implementation and project delivery.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE, B.Tech) or equivalent; Master's degrees (M.Tech, MBA) preferred.
Hands-on experience with one or more data governance/data quality tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Microsoft Purview, or related platforms.
Strong understanding of industry data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, CDMP or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in translating data governance frameworks into practical operating models with demonstrated stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Proven ability to manage complex data governance workstreams end-to-end including risk and quality controls within large enterprise or consulting environments.
Exposure to advanced data governance topics like regulatory compliance, data privacy, AI/GenAI-enabled governance use cases, and data catalog metadata management.
