Design, develop, and validate safety-critical firmware for Cortex-R5 MCU cores according to ISO 26262 standards, including peripheral driver development.
Lead board bring-up and bootloader development to establish secure and safe system boot flow.
Architect and implement robust inter-processor communication between safety and application domains, and perform deep debugging at hardware/software interface.
Minimum Requirements
8-12 years of experience in embedded software development with C programming for microcontrollers.
Experience with safety-critical firmware development compliant with ISO 26262 or IEC 61508.
Experience with TI TDA4Vx/Jacinto 7 SoCs, ARM Cortex-R5 or similar safety MCUs, and safety-certified RTOS (e.g., ETAS RTA-OS, FreeRTOS).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (E&C, EEE) or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Expertise in configuring and validating hardware safety mechanisms (MPU, ECC, lock-step) on SoCs like TI TDA4Vx.
Experience with low-level driver and HAL implementation and bare-metal programming.
Proficient in debugging complex system-level issues using JTAG debuggers (e.g., Lauterbach Trace32) and collaborating closely with hardware engineers.
