Own preparation of accounting entries and reporting schedules for US GAAP, IFRS, German, and Regulatory standards related to Investments, Loan Derivatives, SLB, FX products.
Lead daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, regulatory and SEC reporting, and internal audits.
Drive process re-engineering, standardization, and automation initiatives within Record-to-Report (R2R) operations globally.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s Degree in Accounting or Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA / MBA-Finance.
5+ years progressive experience in R2R finance/accounting roles within major financial institutions.
Extensive knowledge and practical experience with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, including ASC 320 related to investments; experience with multiple international accounting standards a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel), Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase; prior exposure to Spotfire or Cognos is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing complex, multi-geography finance processes with strong internal controls (SOX, RCSA).
Skilled at collaborative stakeholder management across Legal Entity and Geographic controllers in NA, EMEA, and APAC.
Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and automation within centralized R2R organization, comfortable in fast-paced environment with high accountability.
