Lead and manage product security efforts including triage and remediation of vulnerabilities across SBOMs according to FDA requirements.
Own and automate generation and maintenance of SBOMs compliant with FDA and add end-of-support and software support level information.
Analyze vulnerabilities, recommend patching and remediation actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize risk and remediation.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
12 to 16 years of experience in product security, threat modeling, threat analysis, CVSS scoring, and vulnerability management.
Proficiency in Python or another scripting language to develop automation utilities.
Experience working in a regulated industry with familiarity with SBOM management tools such as Dependency-Track.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in medical device cybersecurity or other regulated industries with knowledge of FDA Cybersecurity Guidance, IEC 62304, IEC 81001-5-1 or similar standards.
Strong background in vulnerability assessment, triage, risk assessment, and security gap analysis within product architectures.
Operationally skilled at automating vulnerability management workflows and working cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution and compliance readiness.
