Provide on-site and remote technical support for instrumentation, automation, and control systems during project installation and commissioning.
Lead root cause analysis and investigations for product technical issues, acting as liaison between field, design engineering, and customers to resolve technical problems.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to leadership and customers, ensuring timely communication of significant issues and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical or equivalent Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 8 years technical experience on control systems and rotating machinery at project sites.
Hands-on experience with GE Control Systems (MarkVIe, MarkVIeS SIL System, Proficy Machine Edition, PLCs, DCS) and ability to interpret control logics and troubleshoot operational issues.
Availability to work weekends for emergency technical support and flexibility to travel to different sites as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience with Baker Hughes or equivalent OEM products such as aeroderivative or heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines, or motor-driven centrifugal compressors.
Proven ability to influence and lead small teams within a matrix leadership environment and work across global, matrixed organizations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and demonstrate leadership during adverse or challenging situations.
