Sr Software Dev Engineer - Production Support QE

Lead and manage a team responsible for quality, stability, and performance of critical production systems in a financial services environment.

Develop and implement production support testing strategies including monitoring, incident validation, performance, and resilience.

Oversee incident management including root cause analysis, preventive automation, and maintain quality metrics dashboards for system health and support effectiveness.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years in quality assurance, production support, or related technical role, including at least 3 years of leadership experience.

Experience in production support within financial services or a highly regulated industry.

Proficiency in software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, monitoring tools, incident management, scripting/programming, and complex database queries.

Experienced leader skilled in technical team management and operational excellence within regulated environments.

Strong analytical problem-solver with clear communication skills across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Hands-on experience with production systems support, quality engineering, and continuous improvement in fast-paced, collaborative settings.
