Develop and map diagnostic content for automotive aftersales and aftermarket diagnostic tester software across multiple vehicle systems (engine, electric, ADAS, etc.).
Analyze vehicle communication bus logs; simulate automotive systems; design test workflows and validate diagnostic content with on-vehicle testing and reporting.
Benchmark and reverse engineer diagnostic testers, evaluate coverage across vehicle brands and markets, and interact closely with global software engineering teams.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting preferably at OEM dealerships or workshops.
At least 2 years of experience in automotive diagnostic content development.
Strong vehicle system knowledge with ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair vehicles independently.
Mandatory skills: proficiency with diagnostic testers (e.g., VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT), knowledge of Bosch ESI[tronic], CAN protocols (CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939), and experience with analyzers & simulation tools from Vector/Samtec.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in end-to-end creation and validation of diagnostic content across a wide range of automotive systems and vehicle brands.
Comfortable working with multiple OEM diagnostic testers and able to derive insights from OE diagnostic data for aftermarket tools.
Capable of detailed technical analysis including wiring diagrams, service manuals, and communication protocols to improve diagnostic solutions.
