Own end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing and reporting processes ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
Manage and supervise R2R team to handle general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and stakeholder collaboration across Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Audit to optimize records to report operations.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger Accounting, or Financial Reporting roles.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP ERP and strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.
Work location: WFO Pune, US shifts (implied from job title).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated expertise in managing R2R end-to-end processes including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and month-end close in a multinational/shared services environment.
Proven ability to lead teams, control compliance with accounting standards, and partner cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, and Audit.
Experience with ERP systems like SAP plus working knowledge of automation tools (Power BI preferred) and process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma).
