Principal Architect - Embedded C/C++, Linux Kernel(Automotive Domain)

Define and drive software architecture for Harman Connectivity SBU products, primarily telematics and related technologies, influencing product development and growth in India.

Lead technical communication, define product and system design specifications, and provide hands-on development of prototypes and solutions including embedded, cloud, and mobile applications.

Scout future technologies, recommend standards for security and compliance, support customer engagements through presentations, proof of concept, and technical leadership.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics, communications, computer engineering or similar discipline.

10+ years experience in product development and embedded software focusing on connectivity technologies.

Deep expertise in telematics, communications, embedded systems, Linux OS kernel, and end-to-end solution architecture.

Basic functional safety (FUSA) understanding.

Experienced architect and technical leader capable of handling end-to-end system design and architecture in automotive telematics and connectivity domain.

Strong communication skills to represent software design to customers and internal stakeholders and to lead cross-functional teams by influence.

Hands-on problem solver with exposure to embedded real-time systems, cloud and mobile integration, and interest in emerging technologies like AI and edge computing.
