Own end-to-end performance testing lifecycle for assigned Guidewire or enterprise platform projects, from requirement analysis through sign-off.
Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, conduct various tests (load, stress, endurance, spike, scalability), and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and optimizations.
Collaborate closely with architects, QA, developers, and DevOps teams to validate fixes, monitor application metrics, and maintain comprehensive test artefacts and reports.
Minimum Requirements
4-6 years of overall software QA experience with at least 3 years focused on performance testing of web or enterprise applications.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling; LoadRunner is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with performance testing concepts (response time, throughput, concurrency), and ability to interpret application, database, and infrastructure metrics using monitoring/APM tools (e.g., Datadog, AppDynamics).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Has practical exposure to large-scale, mission-critical enterprise platforms, preferably Guidewire applications or similar.
Experience working in customer-facing, professional services or implementation environments diagnosing complex performance issues.
Comfortable collaborating in distributed, cross-functional teams with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills focused on performance optimization.
