Own detailed capacity planning and resource allocation for a 50+ member design team to prevent overload and support hiring forecasts.
Manage and coordinate all design team HR-related processes including onboarding, offboarding, attendance, and performance review cycles end-to-end.
Develop and maintain internal operational processes, tools, team health initiatives, and serve as the primary contact for designers' operational concerns.
Minimum Requirements
2–4 years experience in design operations, studio/team operations, program coordination, or people operations in an agency, studio, or service environment.
Experience managing resource/bandwidth planning for teams of 20+ members.
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ownership of recurring operational processes and proficiency with productivity and resource management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Sheets, HRMS).
Work Experience Required: 2–4 years; Educational or design background preferred but not strictly required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing and optimizing operational workflows within large creative/design teams (50+ members).
Familiar with design team dynamics and needs, preferably with some design education or hands-on experience to appreciate creative workflows.
Comfortable coordinating between senior leadership, project management, HR, and junior designers while maintaining empathy and discretion handling sensitive personnel matters.
