Own manual and automated testing activities including requirement analysis, test scenario development, and execution for software releases.
Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python with Selenium and Playwright, including automated API tests for REST, gRPC, and GraphQL services.
Design and execute hardware-integrated and systems testing including Hardware-in-the-Loop scenarios, firmware-to-software protocol validation (BLE, IR, RF, Wi-Fi, LoRa), and hardware simulation/emulation to enable comprehensive testing.
Minimum Requirements
5–8 years of software testing experience with proficiency in Python-based test automation using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
Strong knowledge of REST API testing along with mocking/service virtualization and hardware simulation/emulation tools.
Experience in manual testing including defect tracking, load/stress/scalability testing, and root cause analysis across software, firmware, and hardware.
Work Experience Required: 5-8 years in software testing as explicitly mentioned.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in end-to-end testing across software and hardware boundaries, including embedded systems and wireless protocols.
Proficient in developing and maintaining CI/CD integrated automation frameworks with emphasis on Python and modern automation tools.
Capable of debugging and root cause analysis involving complex interactions between firmware, hardware, and software layers.
