Responsible for round-the-clock monitoring, detection, and analysis of threats in SOC environment.
Conduct alert triage, incident validation, prioritization, and escalation according to SOPs and SLAs.
Develop and maintain incident management policies; aim to reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR).
Minimum Requirements
2-5 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response/Threat Detection Engineering/Vulnerability Management or related areas.
Mandatory certification from EC-Council or equivalent, e.g. Certified SOC Analyst, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler.
Education: B.Tech / MCA / MBA with IT background or Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
Preferred experience with SOC tools such as SIEM, Splunk, Vulnerability Management, SOAR, and related security products.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience working within SOC teams focusing on incident detection and response with operational accountability for alert triage and escalation.
Demonstrates proficiency in developing and following incident response playbooks and maintaining incident management policies.
Familiarity with broad cybersecurity technologies and tools, particularly SOC platforms and automation, to effectively reduce detection and response times.
