Responsible for round-the-clock threat monitoring, detection, and incident triage in SOC environment.
Analyze, validate and prioritize security alerts; report and escalate incidents as per SOPs and SLAs.
Develop and maintain incident response policies; reduce Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR).
Minimum Requirements
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in SOC/Incident Management/Incident Response/Threat Detection Engineering/Vulnerability Management/SOC platform management/Automation/Threat Hunting.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, B.Tech, MCA, or MBA with IT background.
Mandatory certification in one of: EC-Council (Certified SOC Analyst, CHFI, CEH), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or equivalent.
Preferred product certification on SOC security tools like SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DAM, UBA, SOAR, NBA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced professional familiar with SOC threat detection tools and processes, including SIEM and Splunk.
Able to perform detailed incident triage, forensic preservation, and post-incident analysis in fast-paced environments.
Demonstrates capability to adhere to SLAs and improve MTTD & MTTR metrics through policy and procedural enhancements.
