Sr. Accounting Analyst - A2R, Closing & Reporting

Deliver GL monthly closing and reporting services including reviewing automated interfaces, reconciling accounts, posting manual journal entries, and preparing ad-hoc reports.

Ensure compliance with Sanofi accounting policies, internal controls, and audit/SOX requirements while meeting global Core Model and operational KPIs.

Identify and implement process improvements including automation initiatives; build and transfer detailed A2R Core Model process knowledge; coach junior analysts.

Graduate degree in accounting or finance; professional qualification like CA/ACCA/CPA preferred.

4-8 years of experience in General Ledger accounting with closing and reporting, preferably in an international multicultural environment; 1-2 years for CA/ACCA/CPA qualified candidates.

Mandatory knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs, and hands-on experience with SAP FICO as an end user.

Fluent English required; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.

Experienced in GL accounting within a Business Services organization supporting multiple geographies and global processes.

Demonstrates operational accountability with strong focus on accuracy, process compliance, and timely period-end closing under tight schedules.

Capable of proactive issue anticipation, process documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentoring junior analysts in a collaborative environment.
