Lab Automation Specialist

Support identification, definition, and deployment of laboratory automation solutions, focusing on enabling Day 1 operations at Bengaluru Technology Centre.

Act as key interface between laboratory stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure automation solutions align with business objectives, operations, safety, and user needs.

Gather, document, and analyze business and process requirements; develop process maps; support solution evaluation, testing, deployment, and operational handover.

Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis, process improvement, laboratory operations, automation, or similar technical environment.

Experience in gathering and documenting business and user requirements; project management experience required.

Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally; hybrid work arrangement eligible.

Experienced in facilitating cross-disciplinary stakeholder engagement and translating lab workflows into automation specifications.

Skilled in analytical problem-solving, process mapping, and managing requirements traceability throughout project delivery.

Familiarity with laboratory automation, robotics, LIMS, and scientific operations; comfortable working with technology suppliers and system integrators.
