Sr Manager Direct Procurement Sourcing Management

Drive sourcing and localization of mechanical components (plastics, metal parts, machined components, fabrications) aligned with category strategy and Make-in-India initiatives.

Lead supplier qualification, performance management (OTD, PPM, cost savings), and commercial negotiations including RFQs/RFPs for various mechanical commodities.

Manage procurement operations including contracts, compliance documentation, material availability tracking, ERP data maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration for production readiness and supplier quality processes.

7-12 years of experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing, or localization.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred; MBA in Supply Chain/Operations is advantageous.

Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, metal stamping, CNC machining, castings) and ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances.

Experience with ERP systems (SAP), supplier quality tools (PPAP, APQP), and strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Experienced in localization and Make-in-India program execution with demonstrated ability to develop local supplier ecosystems and track localization roadmaps.

Capable of cross-functional partnership across engineering, quality, supply chain, and production to deliver cost-effective, high-quality supply solutions.

Data-driven in cost modelling, value engineering, and supplier performance monitoring to meet strategic sourcing and business impact goals.
