AVP - Security Operations (SOC) - Global Information Security

Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents across a global enterprise infrastructure.

Perform in-depth analysis using tools like SIEM (Splunk), EDR (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender), email security (Proofpoint), and DLP to manage threats and data protection.

Lead incident response efforts, support remediation, develop SOC playbooks and SOPs, and mentor junior analysts while acting as escalation point during operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or SOC functions.

Hands-on expertise with SIEM (Splunk), EDR tools (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender), email security (Proofpoint), DLP, firewalls, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Work Experience Required: Minimum 6 years in cybersecurity roles; prior financial services or large enterprise experience preferred.

Experienced security operations professional capable of handling complex global incident detection, investigation, and response in a fast-paced environment.

Technical proficiency across enterprise security tools and frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK) with strong networking and cloud security knowledge.

Able to lead operational decisions, develop security processes, and collaborate with global IT/security teams while mentoring junior staff.
