Software Developer III

Develop and maintain software by designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs based on specifications.

Collaborate with supervisors, analysts, programmers, and end users to gather requirements and ensure software meets defined functions and controls.

Provide technical support, revise programs for corrections or enhancements, and train users or technical staff as needed.

Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-year college or university.

5 to 8 years of related software development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with programming, computer science/engineering concepts, relational database schemas, SQL, and coding languages.

Knowledge of modern development tools and software programming (Windows or web-based) that interacts with relational databases.

Experienced professional capable of handling a diverse scope of problems independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to translate complex requirements into functional software, including interface design for users and systems integration.

Strong communicator capable of training and providing technical assistance to end users and technical teams.
