Minimum Requirements
At least 5 years of prior experience as a software developer, ideally with Go development experience.
Minimum 5 years experience as an engineering manager with 5 or more direct reports.
Hands-on technical experience in CI/CD, feature flagging, or platform engineering, sufficient to engage in detailed design reviews.
Proven experience managing distributed, multi-timezone teams with clear ownership, deadlines, and decision frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in running and improving automation and developer tooling at scale, not merely consuming existing tools.
Comfortable managing and leading senior engineers who may have stronger coding skills, focusing on team health and delivery.
Recent practical experience in using AI coding agents to optimize engineering workflows and encourage adoption of such tools.
