Software Engineer III - Java, Kafka, Spring Boot, Elastic Search

Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions primarily using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Elasticsearch within an agile team.

Leverage enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, while validating outputs for security and correctness.

Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure code complies with design constraints and security standards.

Minimum 3+ years of practical software engineering experience including system design, development, testing, and operational stability.

Proficient in advanced Java development and strong experience with Spring Boot frameworks, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, and unit/integration testing.

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality and security.

Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies including CI/CD, and practical experience with Kubernetes.

Experienced in building AI agent/LLM-enabled workflows with strong knowledge of prompt design, verification strategies, and secure data handling.

Able to critically evaluate and guide safe, effective use of AI-assisted coding tools ensuring compliance with resiliency and security guidelines.

Familiar with modern microservice patterns (resiliency, distributed tracing, event-driven design) and exposure to cloud technologies.
