Principal Software Engineer

Lead architecture, design, and delivery of secure, scalable, cloud-native full stack applications including UI, backend services, APIs, integrations, and data workflows on AWS.

Develop and operate AI-enabled capabilities such as intelligent assistants, recommendation engines, and workflow automation featuring LLM integrations and agentic AI patterns.

Ensure engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and operational readiness, while troubleshooting production issues and driving root-cause fixes.

8+ years professional software engineering experience with leadership at senior, staff, or principal level in complex systems.

Strong hands-on full stack skills with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, plus proficiency in Python, Java, or similar backend language.

Experience building distributed systems, REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, asynchronous event-driven architectures, and cloud-native solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, or similar).

Demonstrated hands-on experience building and shipping production AI/GenAI/LLM applications involving retrieval-augmented generation, prompt design, tool invocation, and agent orchestration.

Experienced principal-level engineer comfortable balancing architecture, implementation, design reviews, and production problem-solving with strong engineering judgment.

Strong practical knowledge of enterprise-grade AI application design including observability, security, auditability, RBAC, privacy, and responsible AI usage.

Background in customer service or contact center domain with familiarity integrating Genesys or similar CX platforms, real-time analytics, streaming applications, and consulting-style delivery environments.
