Lead socio-economic workstreams within global Capital Project Delivery projects, focusing on analysis, impact assessment, and social value for infrastructure, energy, mining, and transition sectors.
Manage discrete workstreams and small teams (1–2 people), coordinating global and regional consulting inputs to deliver projects on time, budget, and quality standards.
Serve as the primary client contact on socio-economic matters, present findings, respond to queries, and contribute to bids and thought leadership within the socio-economic domain.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in economics, human geography, sociology, planning, public policy, development studies, or related social science; Master's degree desirable.
6-10 years relevant consulting experience delivering socio-economic analyses, impact assessments, or economic appraisals.
Proven ability to independently draft socio-economic baseline and impact assessment chapters for EIA/ESIA or comparable outputs.
Mandatory exposure to North America region and sound working knowledge of UK/Irish EIA and consenting regimes and/or international frameworks like IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced consultant with demonstrated expertise in socio-economic baselines, impact assessments, and economic appraisal within regulated infrastructure or energy sectors.
Comfortable managing small teams and multi-regional collaborations in a global consulting delivery model.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with experience using UK/Irish datasets and applying HM Treasury Green Book economic appraisal principles.
