Staff Developer

Lead end-to-end delivery of exposure management and real-time threat analysis features across multiple services or teams within a large distributed security platform.

Own technical strategy, architecture design, reusable patterns, and operational reliability for components of the Managed Risk Platform to ensure scalability and maintainability.

Drive cross-team technical alignment and mentor engineers to raise engineering standards and deliver quality on major multi-team initiatives.

8+ years experience shipping production-quality backend software with ownership of large systems or multi-team projects.

Expert in scalable distributed system design, with strong coding and system design skills; experience with cloud (preferably AWS).

Strong hands-on experience with Golang preferred; also values deep Java or other backend language skills.

Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and production observability practices preferred.

Experienced leader capable of managing ambiguous requirements and dependencies, aligning multiple stakeholder teams pragmatically at scale.

Strong background in designing, scaling, and operating high-scale cloud-based distributed security or big data systems.

Able to mentor emerging technical leaders and enforce engineering excellence across teams in a fast-growing, security-focused technology environment.
