Minimum Requirements
4+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend/distributed systems.
Experience building and operating production-grade systems at scale in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency with large-scale distributed systems using Python, Go, or Rust and familiarity with microservice design, API gateways, event streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
Strong skills in debugging, instrumentation, and observability for distributed systems; experience with DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in ownership and rapid problem-solving on complex distributed backend systems in cloud environments.
Familiar with engineering best practices for reliability, scalability, automation, and observability in production systems.
Background in building early-stage products and possibly experience with AI-assisted development or startup environments.
