Own end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale VM migrations from on-premises to Microsoft Azure with Lift & Shift strategies.
Configure and manage Azure infrastructure components including Virtual Machines, storage, networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers), and implement disaster recovery solutions using Azure Site Recovery.
Monitor and optimize migrated workloads using Azure monitoring tools and ensure secure connectivity via Site-to-Site VPN or Azure ExpressRoute.
Minimum Requirements
6 to 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure focusing on Azure VM migration and management.
Mandatory skills include: Azure VM provisioning, migration tools and methodologies, Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer), storage, and disaster recovery.
Must have hands-on experience with migration of both Windows and Linux servers, PowerShell and/or Azure CLI scripting.
Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) strongly preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in executing complex, minimal downtime migrations for enterprise-scale infrastructure in Microsoft Azure environments.
Strong technical expertise in Azure infrastructure especially VM provisioning, networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues swiftly, collaborating effectively with application and infrastructure teams.
