Lead modernization of core APIs and platform interfaces to support AI-native workflows and automated consumers.
Define and enforce company-wide standards for AI-ready APIs focusing on consistency, validation, observability, versioning, and operational safeguards.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across multiple engineering teams to balance ideal architecture with operational realities and incrementally deliver modernization.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in backend systems, distributed architectures, and platform engineering.
Proven experience in architecting and modernizing complex APIs and legacy production systems without disrupting operations.
Deep knowledge of API contracts, schema design, deterministic behavior, observability, validation, versioning, authentication, and authorization.
The role requires working 2-3 days a week from Hyderabad, Telangana, India office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced senior technical leader capable of influencing architectural direction across multiple teams and organizations.
Strong systems-thinking ability to understand platform-wide architectural impact on AI agents and orchestration systems.
Background in modern distributed systems design with emphasis on resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence, preferably with knowledge of AI-native product architectures and event-driven workflows.
