Define and execute validation strategies and develop automated test scripts for hardware/software control platforms of GE Power Conversion drives.
Manage test labs and hardware/software resources, perform extensive regression tests, and resolve customer issues promptly to ensure high product quality and customer satisfaction.
Develop embedded software and tools including IEC61850 protocol-based system configurators and contribute to product development from requirements through release across multiple industrial domains.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering from a reputed institution.
1 to 2 years of experience in industrial development and validation environment.
Hands-on proficiency with C/C++/VC++/C#/Python scripting and knowledge of industrial communication protocols including EtherCAT, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Canbus, OPC, OPCUA.
Experience with IEC61850 protocol, embedded software testing, controller redundancy testing, and managing test platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience working across industrial domains such as Oil & Gas, Power Systems, Metals, and Marine, with strong IEC61850 protocol expertise including Edition-1 and Edition-2 standards.
Skilled in developing embedded software from low-level hardware drivers to front-end applications using Microsoft technologies and embedded real-time operating systems.
Able to collaborate globally and handle customer escalations efficiently while managing complex test environments and automation.
