Senior Staff Engineer Validation

Lead Wi-Fi validation activities ensuring product quality, performance, reliability, and interoperability for IEEE 802.11 wireless products.

Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans, automate test frameworks using Python and Shell scripting, and improve validation processes and strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including firmware, software, and product management to troubleshoot issues, review product requirements, and deliver high-quality releases on schedule.

8-12 years of work experience in WLAN validation or test automation roles.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in ECE, Computer Science, or a related field.

Mandatory skills: Strong knowledge of WLAN standards (IEEE 802.11), TCP/IP networking, test automation with Python and Shell scripting, CI/CD and Git experience.

Ability to develop test strategies, perform root cause analysis, and use defect tracking/bug management tools.

Experienced in leading Wi-Fi validation efforts with strong technical expertise in IEEE 802.11 standards and wireless networking concepts.

Proficient in creating and executing validation plans and automated test frameworks, with a track record of troubleshooting complex Wi-Fi issues and improving quality processes.

Able to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams to meet release deadlines and enhance product testability and coverage.
