Design and develop backend microservices and APIs focused on Kubernetes workload optimization to reduce cloud infrastructure costs.
Build and enhance features like rightsizing, auto scaling integrations (HPA, KEDA), GPU optimization, and resource recommendation engines across AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes environments.
Work hands-on with Kubernetes APIs, controllers, operators, and telemetry to improve scalability and resource allocation algorithms.
Minimum Requirements
2 to 4 years of software development experience with at least 2 years of hands-on Kubernetes development.
Strong coding skills in Java or Python with experience in backend API and microservices development.
Mandatory expertise with Kubernetes components (Pods, Deployments, HPA, CRDs) and hands-on API usage.
Experience with AWS cloud platform and Kubernetes managed services like EKS; Azure and GCP experience is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced engineer comfortable with deep Kubernetes architectures and cloud-native optimization challenges in large-scale environments.
Proven ability to develop scalable backend systems focused on cost optimization and automation within multi-cloud and containerized infrastructures.
Demonstrated understanding of autoscaling technologies and cloud cost management, with exposure to SaaS product development and possibly AI/ML-driven recommendation systems.
