Set up and maintain development and automated testing environments; perform software integration testing and debugging on hardware-in-the-loop setups, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
Minimum Requirements
University degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Minimum 9 years of embedded software design and development experience; at least 2-3 years in automotive or safety-critical domains.
Expert-level C programming skills for RTOS and bare-metal environments; Python skills for test automation preferred.
Proven experience with ISO 26262 functional safety standard (ASIL B) and Automotive SPICE processes; experience with debugging tools like Lauterbach TRACE32, Vector CANoe, or JTAG/SWD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing embedded software architectures for safety-critical automotive applications, comfortable with detailed documentation and V-Model processes.
Strong expertise in low-level C programming and debugging on microcontroller-based systems with hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Familiarity with cross-disciplinary collaboration involving Hardware, System Engineering, and Validation teams in automotive contexts.
