7+ years experience building and operating production backend software with meaningful volume.
Experience with asynchronous, queue-driven or event-driven systems and their failure modes.
Strong written communication in English and ability to work across multiple time zones.
Based in India, comfortable working 11:30-21:00 IST with core hours 18:00-21:00 IST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in owning and operating complex backend systems in production, including troubleshooting and resilience improvements.
Comfortable working on established, undocumented codebases and incremental modernization in a multi-cloud environment.
Capable of mentoring others, reviewing code/designs, and raising technical standards within a remote, distributed team.
