Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations for an Australia-based business including GL, journals, bank reconciliations, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet.
Oversee month-end and year-end closings, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
Coordinate with Australian accountants, tax advisers, and external consultants; support Australian payroll and BAS/IAS compliance.
Minimum Requirements
8–12 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience.
Mandatory hands-on experience with Australian accounting practices including BAS/IAS compliance.
Proficient in Xero accounting software; knowledge of MYOB or QuickBooks Online is an advantage.
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA or equivalent. CA is not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Has worked in Australia-facing shared services, outsourced accounting, offshore finance, or Australian accounting environment.
Experienced in independent ownership of finance functions with strong analytical and Excel skills.
Familiar with Australian payroll and taxation requirements with strong stakeholder communication abilities.
