Lead the development and implementation of security architectures and standards for Operational Technology (OT) in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Act as senior subject matter expert on complex OT security issues impacting products, projects, and customer deployments in critical infrastructure and utility-scale energy environments.
Drive security design reviews, threat modeling, and secure-by-design practices throughout the BESS product lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 8+ years in cybersecurity, security architecture, or critical infrastructure security.
Minimum 5+ years experience supporting utility-scale energy systems, industrial environments, or comparable critical infrastructure.
Experience applying IEC 62443 security-by-design principles and compliance with frameworks such as NERC CIP, NIS2, EU CRA, or SOCI/CIRMP.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in cyber-physical system security, OT/IT convergence, and grid-connected architectures for critical infrastructure.
Skilled in threat modeling (STRIDE/DREAD), security architecture reviews (OWASP-based), and consequence planning for OT cyber safety.
Comfortable mentoring teams and consulting on complex security architecture decisions in cross-functional, regulated environments.
