Design, execute, and review comprehensive test scenarios including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Exploratory, and UAT testing to ensure software quality.
Perform end-to-end validation of business workflows and APIs, including defect identification, root cause analysis, and collaboration with developers.
Prepare test reports and contribute to quality assurance process improvements within Agile team ceremonies.
Minimum Requirements
2 to 4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent experience).
Strong experience with testing tools and techniques including defect management tools like Jira and Azure DevOps, SQL for database validations, and API testing using Postman.
Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, functional and non-functional test types such as Regression, Integration, System, Exploratory, UAT, and requirement analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in analyzing business requirements to create detailed and effective test cases with risk identification and impact analysis.
Comfortable working in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Technical proficiency in backend database validations (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and API testing with a strong troubleshooting orientation.
