Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot on-premises, hosted, and cloud Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), storage (SAN), and backup environments, ensuring incident resolution and service request fulfillment.
Serve as escalation point for TOC/NOC, Service Desk, and Systems teams for infrastructure-related issues, providing guidance and support.
Participate in on-call rotations including weekends and after-hours, perform routine updates/upgrades, document configurations, and support client onboarding and continuous improvement efforts.
Minimum Requirements
5-7 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support including Windows Servers, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), SAN, and Backup technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, File/Print Services, and backup software such as Veeam, Datto, Carbonite, or Evault.
Minimum 2 days per week working US day shift; able to participate in rotational shifts including nights/weekends.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated advanced skills in administration and troubleshooting of Windows/Linux server and virtualization environments within MSP or enterprise infrastructure settings.
Ability to escalate and guide multi-tier teams, indicating senior operational responsibility and technical expertise.
Experience working with backup technologies and storage solutions (Dell EqualLogic/NetApp/Nimble or similar) increasing effectiveness in disaster recovery and data protection tasks.
