Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and Power BI dashboards to track key homeowners insurance KPIs such as quotes, binds, retention, premium, and business mix.
Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and cohort analyses to identify trends, evaluate product/business changes, and support competitive intelligence for pricing and product decisions.
Work independently on complex, cross-functional insurance data problems, ensuring high data accuracy and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related discipline.
At least 3 years of professional experience, including 1+ years in personal lines insurance data analysis, actuarial, product analytics, or related roles.
Strong SQL skills with experience in BigQuery and/or SQL Server; advanced Power BI and Excel capabilities; proficiency in Python or R for analytics and automation.
Ability to work approximately 8 hours daily with 4 core overlapping U.S. hours (7:30 PM–11:30 PM IST); reliable remote work setup with minimum 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload internet speed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in personal lines insurance analytics with a strong technical skill set in SQL, Power BI, Python/R, and BI tools for data-driven decision-making.
Capable of independently managing complex, ambiguous data problems to proactively identify issues and opportunities before escalation.
Comfortable working remotely across time zones with U.S.-based global teams, able to communicate analytical insights clearly to business stakeholders.
