Own end-to-end verification and validation of Motor Control Unit (MCU) systems across bench, HIL/SIL, inverter test rigs, dyno, and vehicle-level environments.
Develop and maintain system test strategy, plans, scenarios, and coverage for motor control MCU functions including start/stop sequences, torque/speed control, braking, thermal and protection behaviors.
Build, automate, and execute tests on HIL platforms and bench setups, maintaining test artifacts and automated regression suites with scripting and CI integration.
Minimum Requirements
3–8+ years experience in system testing/validation of embedded ECUs, preferably automotive or industrial domain.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
Hands-on experience with HIL platforms (e.g., dSPACE, NI, Vector) and bench testing with inverter + motor setups.
Strong knowledge of motor control systems (PMSM/BLDC/IM fundamentals), automotive networks (CAN/LIN/Ethernet), and diagnostic tools (UDS, CANoe/CANalyzer).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in detailed system-level test design and execution for automotive motor control units, focused on safety, reliability, and performance under real-world and corner case scenarios.
Skilled in test automation scripting (Python, CAPL, MATLAB/Simulink) and maintaining CI-friendly test environments.
Comfortable managing cross-functional integration tasks and communicating effectively across vehicle program teams.
