Lead design and implementation of SPIFFE/SPIRE identity plane enabling secure service-to-service authentication across internal APIs.
Develop and maintain mission-critical IAM services primarily in Java, integrating with enterprise PKI/HSM, establishing HA/SPoF-free deployments, and building cross-platform verifier libraries.
Collaborate with multiple teams to deploy services on AWS and on-premises, support large-scale global systems with security compliance, and participate in code reviews and on-call rotation.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
5+ years programming experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
Experience with IAM authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
Experience building services using relational databases and basic knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and rolling out large-scale identity and access management solutions using SPIFFE/SPIRE and mTLS.
Familiar with enterprise security integration including PKI/HSM and compliance standards.
Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and implementing role-based access control in distributed environments, with operational readiness to participate in on-call support.
